OnCast looks for Software Engineers, with a JEE technology oriented profile, who wish to grow professionally and are able to help OnCast continue being recognized as an excellence center in software development.
Our projects go from high performance algorithms to self-manageable business solutions and large scale applications with rich interface for the user.
For such, it's very important the Software Engineer to have good knowledge in object orientation, data structures, the main JEE frameworks (like EJB and Hibernate), the main APIs (reflection, collections, streams...), the main design patterns and to be willing to learn and develop new technologies and new ways to work.
Summary of the requested skills:
- Object orientation
- Java SE 5 or more recent.
- Java EE 4 or more recent.
- APIs Java, such as: reflections, collections, streams, io, swing...
- Frameworks, such as: EJB 3, Hibernate 3, Servlets, Velocity, DWR...
- Design patterns
- Basic SQL
- Intermediary English
- Disposal to learn new technologies
- Good communication and disposal for work in team
- OnCast values
Desirable skills:
- Fluent English
- JavaScript knowledge.
- Knowledge in usability, ergonomics...
- Experience with agile development of software
- Version control system
